HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) is the evolution of the W-CDMA (UMTS) mobile protocol and is referred to nowadays as 3.5G.
Delivering on the early promises of 3G, HSDPA provides higher data speeds (up to 10x WCDMA) and makes more efficient use of existing W-CDMA radio network assets. HSDPA is set to boost usage in the business sector by providing a mobile office environment and to trigger usage in the consumer market by leveraging the positive end-user experience of fixed broadband.
AIRCOM has been working with HSDPA since mid 2004 and has integrated HSDPA capabilities in all relevant products and services
