HSUPA

HSUPA (High Speed Uplink Packet Access) also known as E-DCH (Enhanced Dedicated Channel) and 3.75G is a new radio interface for uplink communication.

HSUPA improves coverage and throughput by reducing the delay of uplink dedicated transport channels. This means higher performance for the user for applications that require high and symmetric data rates, such as Outlook synchronisation and mobile gaming, and a more efficient network for the operator to run.

In accordance with the specifications set by 3GPP AIRCOM currenly already provides HSUPA simulations and is introducing full HSUPA planning and joint-technology simulation with specific simulation arrays in its Radio Planning & Optimisation tools as of ENTERPRISE 6.0 to be released early 2007.
